About the role We are seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd - 4 th Year Carpenter Apprentice to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who has completed their first year of carpentry training and is eager to continue developing their skills while working on a variety of residential and/or commercial projects. You will work under the guidance of qualified tradespeople, assisting with all aspects of carpentry, from framing and fixing to finishing work, while continuing your TAFE studies. About YOU You're a driven and reliable 2 nd - 4 th Year Carpentry Apprentice who takes pride in your work and is eager to keep learning. You've already got the basics down from your first year and are ready to build on your skills in framing, fixing, and finishing. You enjoy working with your hands, can follow instructions, and aren't afraid to get stuck into a hard day's work. You're punctual, safety-conscious, and a genuine team player who's ready to take the next step in your carpentry career with a company that values quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing timber and other materials Follow drawings, plans, and specifications accurately Use and maintain carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely Help with site preparation, clean-up, and general labouring duties as required Support tradespeople in completing tasks to a high standard and on time Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies Continue on-the-job training to meet apprenticeship requirements Requirements: Currently enrolled as a 2nd to 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice (Certificate III in Carpentry) Previous first-year experience in carpentry (residential and commercial) Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Good communication skills and attention to detail Physically fit and capable of manual work Current driver's licence and reliable transport is a must (ute to carry tools) White Card (Construction Induction) essential About us Need Recruitment support?
